Australia’s resident fashion pack have already begun to inundate Australian Fashion Week with their presence, with local celebrities Lara Bingle, Kate Waterhouse and Deborah Hutton seen perched in the front row.
Local celebrities and reality television stars adorned the front rows of the big name shows after Day One of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia.
Lara Bingle, Ruby Rose, Kate Waterhouse, Rachael Finch, Erika Heynatz, Michelle Bridges, Terry Biviano and Deborah Hutton were spotted among shows such as Aurelio Costarella, Camilla and Ksubi and were quite the style stars themselves.
Lara bingle donned a psychedelic printed shirt fitting the similarly themed show at Romance was Born and opted for shimmering black paired with a crisp white shirt and hair braid. Kate Waterhouse, known for her fashion on and off the race-track was spotted looking chic in black at Aurelio Costarella.
‘The Slap’ star, Sophie Lowe was seen attending the Romance was born show, other celebrites included Miranda Otto and singer Megan Washington.
There was a noticeable absense of celebrity models strutting the catwalks, but this made way for fresh blood and Australia’s Next Top Model 2011 winner Montana Cox appeared in half a dozen shows – proving to be one of the most in-demand walkers of the day. Georgie Parker’s young daughter Holly joining the adorable child models who stormed the runway as part of Camilla Franks’ show.
