INFORMATION FOR ALL THE SIGNS

This is a huge month astrologically as The Planet Of Tedious Hard Work And Facts You Didn’t Want Shoved Up Your Nose – aka Saturn – finally changes signs. For one thing this give a break to Aries and Librans. For another it now supports Cancerians, Virgos, Capricorns and Pisceans. For Scorpios and Taureans, it has to be said, you are in the direct line of Saturn’s fire. More in a minute about why this can be a good thing, despite what you have probably read! And if you’re name isn’t on any of those lists, don’t panic. Sometimes it’s better to go unnoticed by Saturn!

Saturn is the planet who is also known as The Lord of Karma. What we reap, we shall sow. He’s the menacing planet who reminds us to be good unless we want coal in our Christmas stocking. He’s the mean head teacher who raps our knuckles. He’s the planet who grimly reminds us that we don’t have forever.

So as you can imagine, he is not the most fun you can have. He’s reality, hard facts and lessons. He’s also the planet who says “Get real”. It’s thanks to Saturn that we learn our lessons and our lives improve. When he’s tough, he’s very, very tough. And when he’s nice? He’s useful.

Saturn, for example, is the planet who commits. That doesn’t sound very exciting but what is a marriage or a business arrangement or a friendship without a bit of commitment. He’s the planet who helps us to stay strong and to see how hard work can lead to security and stability. Again, that doesn’t sound very exciting and in all truth, Saturn is the least barrel of laughs planet of all.

But Saturn is rock solid and he does keep his promises. He is moving into Scorpio this month which means he’s affecting us all in a very different way to the way he’s been affecting us for the past three years. Here’s how…

SATURN NEWS for your sign…

Wherever Saturn goes, lessons follow. As of now, Saturn is hanging out where he’s going to be asking you what you can do for others, as well as for yourself. In this part of your chart, he’s not too long away from being opposite your Sun, which is when you will be tested in various ways. That won’t happen until next year, but in the lead up, now is a good time to start making sure that you have a long list of good daily routines in place, so that you feel like life is in order. It’s a good idea now not to scatter your energies. If you can start to take a more serious approach to your wellbeing, you’ll be in the cosmic vibe. For some, there will be lessons about responsibility now. ‘Are you willing shoulder your burden?’ sounds like a heavy question. If you share your burden with someone else—be that a business or romantic partner—you might be asked to carry a little more than you consider your share. No one would suggest you act like a load-carrying animal, but if you can take on a little more responsibility now, you could reap the rewards of your hard work later. Saturn also has lessons to teach you about your wellbeing now. This is not the time to allow gloomy thoughts to deplete your vitality. Health is a serious business and if you can get serious about doing all you can to boost yours, go for it. You are laying foundations for the future with every healthy act! There really is a need to go slowly and steadily towards challenges, without overly exerting yourself. With Saturn in this part of the chart, you could feel as though the lessons you need to learn are hard to assimilate. There’s no rush. All in good time. If you feel discouraged about rising to meet the challenges, pace yourself. You’ll get there in the end. Some of you not happy in your job are going to feel less like taking risks than usual this year, especially where your daily work is concerned. That’s fine, but only if you resolve not to be grim about your work. Saturn in this part of your chart asks you to work hard, for best results. Make the changes you need so that you are in a position to do just that and you could be quietly patting yourself on the back later.

MEANWHILE SEXY MARS IS CHANGING SIGNS, MOVING INTO SADGE… Here’s what you can expect, as of October 7.

The part of your chart now being activated by Mars is your love zone – the part of your chart where you deal with your most important one to one relationships, past, present and future. Mars here can bring tensions but if you are smart, you can actually turn his visit into something positive. Rather than suffering in silence about anything which is bothering you, Mars can be used to tackle issues so that the air is cleared. Good relationships get hotter and more passionate now. Bad ones just get argumentative! Aim for compromise where you can.

FINALLY, A MYSTICAL MESSAGE FOR YOU – I drew a Goddess Card for each sign. If you’re reading this, you need this message! Your message is: “Awaken the Goddess within you through dance, self-care and appreciating your divinity.”
