George Clooney flew in to Sydney yesterday for a brief visit at The Power of Collaboration summit to be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. Clooney flew solo, leaving girlfriend Stacey Keilbler at home for the brief trip. Wearing a relaxed t-shirt and jeans combo instead of his usual designer suit, the actor landed in Sydney with an entourage surrounding him and was whisked straight to his suit at The Darling.
At the three-day summit, Clooney will be giving a speech about his aid work and the way he has used collaboration, negotiation and compromise in his life’s work.
The punters, who have paid $1100 each to hear the Hollywood icon speak, have been warned to stay on topic. And anyone who’s smart will abide by the rules, Clooney famously chastised a reporter during a press conference at the Toronto International Film Festival this year when, after being quizzed about his love life, he said, “I knew someone would do it. I’m a little disappointed that it’s you. Honestly. What’s your name? Paul? Everyone remember that name. The hard-hitting interview by Paul. I think it’s tremendous you asked the question, go back and tell your editor you asked the question.”

Diane Kruger, Nicole and Lionel Richie, Joan Collins, Rose McGowan, Felicity Huffman and many more gathered at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel for the 2011 biennial UNICEF ball. The ball was held to honour award recipients and raise funds through a live auction for celebs and activists.
One of the most notable bids on the night went towards a VIP package complete with backstage concert access and a private meet-and-greet with Selena Gomez.
The stars took the glam up a level for the ball with Nicole Richie looking stunning in a long black Osman gown with cut-outs at the ribs and a leather bodice. Diane Kruger opted for a black as well, wearing a stunning Emilio Pucci creation with lace detail, a halter neck and a frilly, tiered skirt that she cleverly teamed with bright red heels.
It’s always nice to see the stars glamming up for a worthwhile cause!
Men’s Health magazine have named Jennifer Aniston the sexiest woman of all time, capping off a fabulous year for the star who has seen box-office success and a much-awaited happy ending in her love life.
The star, 42, said her pick for sexiest woman of all time is, “a tie between Brigitte Bardot and Gloria Steinem. But if I had to choose one, I’d say Gloria because, well, she’s the full package. That’s sexy.”
Following Jennifer’s number one spot is Raquel Welch, Marilyn Monroe, Britney Spears and Madonna.
