The make-up at Vivienne Westwood told an amazing story. There were even two distinctly different makeup styles to go with it.
Leading MAC make-up artist Val Garland explains “We have two characters – a Prince Charming with fury tortured brows and moustaches and a heroine Damsel in Distress with a Klimt-y eye and a carton line drawing of a mouth”.
Val Garland described the inspiration for this show as “Hans Christian Andersen dark fairy tales, all about mass sexualization – is it a boy, is it a girl, is it a boy being a girl, or a girl being a boy?”
