
At Rodarte’s A/W New York show, the models looked “spirit like, pale skinned and ghoulish”, according to MAC make-up maestro James Kaliardos.
James Kaliardos said, “My inspiration is Jung’s ‘Collective Unconscious’ and polarization”.
The MAC products used include:
Eyes:
1. Eye Shadow in Quarry was applied under the eye and to the eye lid and diffused up to the brow using a M•A•C 213 Brush.
2. Eye Shadow in Silver Ring was layered over the Quarry.
3. Pigment in Pink Opal was applied to the outer brow bone to highlight.
Face:
1. M•A•C Pro Face and Body Foundation in White was applied all over the face for a pale, sheer finish.
2. Eye Shadow in Quarry was lightly washed across the jaw-line to sculpt and contour.
3. Pigment in Kitchmas was pressed into the cheekbone to highlight.
Lips:
1. Lipstick in Hipster was applied all over the lips and blotted.
2. Lipstick in DuBonet was layered softly over Hipster onto the centre of the lip.
