The Rocks Markets
With over 200 stalls stocking artisan and designer products, you’ll be hard pressed to come home empty handed after a day at The Rocks Markets. Stall owners are always happy to have a chat about their craft, and you’ll likely come home with a few treasures with rich stories behind them. Take a break from shopping with a gourmet lunch from one of the many market stalls, or dine in at one of The Rocks incredible restaurants.
Where: Jack Mundey Place, Playfair Street and George Street, The Rocks
Day: Every Saturday and Sunday
Time: 10am to 5pm
Mosman Village Art & Craft Market
For over 25 years the Mosman Village Art & Craft Market has been supplying the North Shore with some of unique jewellery, stationary, woodwork, and more. There are over 140 stalls to peruse and the Military Road location means you can spend some time browsing Mosman’s boutiques when you’re finished at the markets.
Where: 573 Military Road, Mosman Square and Village Green, Mosman
Day: First Saturday of the month
Time: 8am to 3pm
Lane Cove ALIVE Art & Design Makers Markets
On the third Sunday of every month, Lane Cove’s Plaza is transformed into a treasure-hunting mecca filled with original artworks, jewellery, furnishings, photography, and so much more. All the artists and makers are right there selling their own products, meaning you can hear about the processes before you purchase.
These very selective markets are known for their consistent quality – you can expect the best of the best from ALIVE!
Where: Lane Cove Plaza, 18A Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove
Day: Third Sunday of the month
Time: 9am to 3pm
Kirribilli Art & Design Market
With beautiful harbour views, live music, fabulous food, and a playground for kids, Kirribilli markets are as much about a great family day out as the incredible ceramics, artworks, and home wares on offer.
We love top-and-tailing this day out with a walk across the bridge. It’s just 15 minutes from Harrington Street in The Rocks.
Where: Burton Street tunnel and Bradfield Park, Milsons Point Day: Second Sunday of the month
Time: 9am to 3pm
EQ Village Markets
The eclectic Entertainment Quarter markers offer a great mix of arts and crafts, toys, homewares, and jewellery. During Spring, the area will be bustling with the Spring Festival activities including food sampling, live music, ‘Ask a Farmer’, and so much more.
Big plus on this one during the unpredictable Spring months: the area is under the cover of an umbrella structure so they’re open rain, hail or shine!
Where: Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park
Day: Every Sunday
Time: 10am to 4pm
