It seems we can’t get this one Bachelorette out of the limelight. Twenty-nine year-old Bachelor favourite Heather Maltman has sent The Bachelor Australia fans awry after alluding to the possibility that she and Bachelor Sam Wood are a couple.
In a radio interview on commercial station KISS FM, Heather implied that she may have been the recipient of Bachelor Sam’s final red rose after stating that she had found a friend, and a partner, in Sam. Though the radio hosts asked no further questions, it was Bachelor fans that have since picked up on the slip.

‘The cameras are on one hundred percent of the time’ Heather confessed, ‘But we do have a little bit of time just the two of us which was really nice, and I’m really grateful that we did because at the end of the day it shows we have an incredible friendship the two of us and that was a part of, I guess, my experience with Sam that I’ve enjoyed the most.
‘The fact that I made an incredible friend as well as a partner.’
Uh, did Heather just spoil the series? Bachelor fans across the country seem to think so, including KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O, who unearthed a revealing snippet of information in separate interviews with top two favourites Heather and Snezana. When asked if Bachelor Sam had informed them when he was going to kiss other Bachelorettes, Snezana replied, ‘No, I have had no contact with Sam since the show ended.’

Heather on the other hand continued to peddle the rumour mill, stating, ‘Yes. He and I kind of very briefly talked about it. That’s also because, you know, like I said, we’re really good friends.’
To round things off, reports have surfaced this week that Heather has since resigned from her accountancy job in Sydney and moved to Melbourne to be closer to Sam.
A source who claims to be a friend of a colleague has told the same radio station that the aspiring filmmaker resigned three weeks ago. But contradictory paparazzi images show Heather near the Sydney office block where she works.
The caller told Kyle and Jackie O, ‘My sister’s best friend works with Heather and said the whole time the Bachelor was being filmed, she was gone and she has now returned to work but recently resigned.
‘Everyone thinks she’s gone to Melbourne to be with Sam,’ the continued. ‘She works in accounting and did acting on the side.’
