No matter where you’re at, we invited Alina rose, a women’s cognitive coach and sensuality mentor, to share her expertise on the steps to take to pave a path to being a sensual goddess.
Is it me, or is everyone (except you) suddenly sexually woke? In a fresh cultural environment of sex-positivity, it feels like everyone is sending feminist nudes, getting into continuously adventurous poses and having earth- shaking, long orgasms… except, of course – you.
Well I’m here to peel back the bedsheets and tell you that things for every day Australian women are not what they seem (at least not in progressive Netflix shows).
The fact is, we’re in the middle of an exhaustion epidemic (and yeah, that other one pandemic starting with C).
And feeling all types of way about our complex, changing world leads to stress that can all but halt our sensitive libidos.
Women live and work from the masculine every day.
We make love, exercise and even do yoga like men… And it’s leaving us burnt out and on the back-foot when it comes to claiming our sexual pleasure.
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
Tantric and somatic studies of orgasmic potential point to relaxation as the CORE element for women to drop into the depths required for full, embodied sensations. The kind of surrender where you forget yourself. The kind of bliss where you forego your sensory faculties and that chattering mind, even for a few moments.
So if an orgasm doesn’t quite eventuate despite your best intentions (whether you’re self-pleasuring or in coitus), it may be because there is a mental resistance to ‘letting go’.
Because when our lives or safety are on the line, surrender can feel frickin’ scary.
We cling to the safety of our thoughts, even in the bedroom, analysing the experience and not quite falling deep, even rushing through sex to get it ‘over with’.
Sound familiar?
In our tense, busy worlds, relaxing too much can feel like wading in unchartered waters. Many women who see me are frustrated with the motions of ’intimacy’, while being emotionally or physically checked out.
Thus, it comes as no surprise, where pretty much all of us carry some shame and guilt around sex. This is a huge piece for many women, as our lack of voice in this arena means we endure major http://theshoalspharmacy.com and micro- transgressions against our bodies that trap us into a feeling that we have no power or agency over our sensual pleasure.
And I’m here to tell you that as an adult woman, you deserve permission to own your desires and sexuality, completely in encumbered.
Having been through so many courses, theories, teachings, activations, experiences (both good and bad) in this realm myself, I keep coming back to the pressing, unavoidable truth that learning pleasure and sex through the ancient lores of Womanhood is the necessary, urgent counter-balance to the linear, structured,
often unsustainable nature of our man-made world.
In fact, it’s the missing piece for or our spiritual work.
There is nothing wrong or ‘impure’ in female sexuality, orgasm, or sex. It has the potential to be a sacred, untamed gateway to a surge of energy that opens your heart, and flows through your body to activate your Spirit Song.
Through mastering this final phase of our spiritual initiation, women can show up on their own terms in and out of the bedroom, taking back control of the pace and rhythm of their own life.
Why not relax and melt your body next time you feel like tensing?
Or slow down your breath and drop beneath another layer into a tender space, next time you feel your body
going numb?
An undulating bliss awaits that no matter the ‘final act’, has the potential to reset your whole system.
A woman in control of her own body, through understanding that we receive pleasure in different ways than our partner, is a deliciously dangerous entity.

Together, we can build a new conversation around women, sexuality and our honest expression of who we are – and what that power means.
