Former Masterchef contestant, Hayden Quinn has been crowned Cleo Bachelor of the Year for 2012 beating out a worthy line-up of Australia’s finest bachelors!
More then four hundred VIP guests and celebrities, swarmed the Star’s new nightclub, Marquee for Cleo editor Gemma Crisp to announce Hayden Quinn as 2012’s Cleo Bachelor of the Year.
The former Masterchef contestant who won hearts Australia-wide during his time on the show, was voted Australia’s hottest and most date-worthy hunk and received a $10,000 cheque from Revlon for being just that.
Hayden said of his chances, “I don’t know. It’s kind of one of those weird sorts of things. I was talking to someone the other day about how people win stuff for doing something cool, like they win a medal because they ran fast or won a grand final, or they cooked an amazing dish and won a competition. This is just being you, and you can’t really work it very much, you’ve just gotta be yourself. So I just keep being myself and having a good time.”
“You get to meet amazing people along the way. My life post-MasterChef, it’s all been about meeting new people. This is another of those opportunities. There are cool guys — they’re all smart, intelligent, not just good-looking. There are other traits as well.”
Johnny Ruffo, of X Factor alumni fame placed second, while Celebrity Apprentice star and model Nathan Jolliffe came third.
Ricki-Lee Coulter with freshly dyed blonde locks, provided the entertainment and sang two of her hit songs, although her vote went to her back-up dancer, Keiynan Lonsdale, “He’s in the ‘Do It Like That’ video. We spent a couple of days shooting and rehearsing the video, and he’s just adorable.”
Ruby Rose, Jesinta Campbell, Brian McFadden and Montana Cox were among the guests.
