Remember that fun flick Valentine’s Day with an incredible all-star cast? Well, its sequel ‘New Year’s Eve’ is about to hit cinema and yesterday Hollywood gathered for the big premiere including Ashton Kutcher who couldn’t resist a peek down Lea Michele’s dress.

Never before have we seen the public so riled up about a People Magazine award but when Bradley Cooper took out 2011 Sexiest Man Alive, the backlash from Ryan Gosling fans was unstoppable! Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Biel, Ashton Kutcher, Zac Efron, Halle Berry, Alyssa Milano, Lea Michele, Robert De Niro. these are just some of the mega-watt stars who appear in the new film from the director of Valentine’s Day, Garry Marshall. With a cast like that, the premiere and after party were on our radar!
Both occurred in Los Angeles yesterday at the Chinese theatre. Along with the stars mentioned above, many more walked down the black carpet but all eyes were on co-stars Ashton Kutcher and Lea Michele.
The freshly divorced Ashton was incredibly flirtatious with Glee star Lea, stealing a kiss behind her ear, laughing with her and touching her hands. Wearing a plunging silver tulle gown that left little to the imagination, 25-year-old Lea had 38-year-old Ashton looking down at her cleavage most of the night! And he wasn’t shy about it either, as this picture and other’s show, the Two and a Half Men star wasn’t holding back one bit despite such a recent and controversial split from Demi Moore.
In the dress department, sparkles were on trend with not only Lea but also Hilary Swank, Fergie and Abigail Breslin opting for a bit of glitter. Seems pretty suitable for a flick about New Year’s Eve, really!
Madonna has praised Britain’s Duchess of Cambridge for the way she manages to always look elegant, but never stiff or overly formal with her fashion choices.
She told People.com: “She is a lovely girl with a great sense of style. Her wedding dress by Alexander McQueen was very beautiful. I like her choices. She’s elegant and still knows how to have some fun. I’m a fan of her style.”
Catherine and Madonna’s fashion sense is so close, they have even been spotted in the same dress – with the former wearing a salmon-pink satin dress by Stella McCartney to a Sunday dinner in Berkshire, southern England, which Madonna had previously donned three years ago at the Cannes film festival.
Speaking of which, this weekend at the premiere of her new film ‘W.E.’ – Madonna’s directorial debut, about the scandal of King Edward VIII, who abdicated from the English throne to marry US divorcee Wallis Simpson – the ‘True Blue’ singer also said she appreciates how the English royal family have relaxed in their attitude since the time when her film was set.
She added: “The freedom that Catherine has and the freedom the royal family has now is nice and is refreshing. It’s too bad that Edward VIII didn’t have that same kind of freedom back in 1937 to make his own decisions and to be the prince of the people, which Prince William is allowed to be. I like how modern they are now.”
On The Graham Norton Show in the UK this week, Bradley Cooper admitted what we have all been thinking and what many huge Gosling stars have protested about; he should never have been named the 2011 Sexiest Man Alive, that title should have gone to Ryan Gosling.
The two sexy stars worked together on The Place Beyond the Pines and Bradley seems to have developed a little bit of a man-crush on his co-star, sayng, “He’s the greatest” and that looking at paparazzi shots of the two, Ryan, “literally looks like he’s in a photo shoot, like he just came off the runway…. And there’s ones of me, and I literally look like the neighbour who never comes out of his house.”
This clips has made our love for the Hangover star Bradley even stronger and though we agree Gosling is he sexiest man of 2011, Bradley just may be Rescu’s Sweetest Man of 2011. Watch the clip below.
