Charming actor, Jamie Bell has walked the runway for Prada’s RTW FW12/13 menswear show at Milan Fashion Week, along with Adrien Brody, Emile Hirsch and Gary Oldman. The actors mixed in amongst the male models wearing Prada’s militaristic-inspired suiting.
Miuccia Prada – who has been at the helm of the Italian fashion house since 1978 – recruited some of Hollywood’s hottest stars, including Jamie, Adrien Brody, Emile Hirsch and Gary Oldman, to model the autumn/winter menswear collection at Milan Fashion Week.
However, Jamie admitted the experience accentuated his insecurities about his looks and made him realise how “short” he actually is. He told The Guardian newspaper, “You suddenly see how short you are. You discover nervous twitches in your face you didn’t know you had, and you don’t know where to look.”
In addition to a whole host of A-list actors wearing Prada’s military-inspired line, another highlight of the weekend in Milan included Vivienne Westwood’s show, which featured bearded models covered in ice and snow.
Meanwhile, David Gandy – who appears in the advertising campaigns for Dolce and Gabbana – was notably absent from the Italian fashion house’s Milan showcase, which featured black velvet jackets and long dress coats embroidered in intricate gold patterns.
