Just last week Cara Delevinge Instgrammed a clip of an intoxicated Reese Witherspoon attempting to say her name, and today the internet has gone crazy for a video of Solange Knowles attacking her brother-in-law Jay-Z in the lift.
The now-viral video comes from tabloid giant TMZ who somehow got a hold of the surveillance tape and put it on YouTube for the world to see. Though the footage has no sound, it clearly shows the usually charming Solange wildly pointing, yelling, and attempting to kick and punch Jay-Z while Beyonce looks on. A man who appears to be a security guard soon puts the altercation to a stop, but it’s not long until the tenacious Solange launches at 44-year-old Jay once again.
After this, the security guard is seen to press the emergency stop button to pause the lift, seemingly in an attempt to keep the fight from the media who wait at ground level.
Once the group exits the lift, Beyonce puts on one seriously impressive poker face for the media before climbing into a car with her sister while Jay-Z enters a separate vehicle.
Since the footage has been released, the internet has been flooded with reactions including a hilarious update to Solage’s Wikipedia page…

Witty tweets, hilarious memes and public musings aside, little has come of the silent footage and there’s still no word on what caused the now-public fight. Solange has reportedly deleted all pictures of Beyonce from her Instagram except for one, but neither party has spoken publicly about the altercation.
The Standard Hotel in New York City says it is investigating how the security footage was leaked, and that it is, “shocked and disappointed that there was a clear breach of our security system.”
Only time will whether we ever find out what really happened between the stars, but for now, you can watch the video and contemplate at home…
