Jennifer Hawkins, Jessica Hart and Kris Smith have launched the Myer Autumn Winter 2012 Collections. The Myer ambassadors and models took to the rural inspired runway to showcase the newest looks from the Myer range. Meanwhile, celeb besties, Beyonce and Gwenyth Paltrow have teamed up with a few other Hollywood heavyweights to create a musical produced by the makers of TV hit, Glee.
The Myer Autumn Winter 2012 Fashion Show took centre stage for Australian fashion just a few short weeks after department store rivals, David Jones. Held at the iconic and newly refurbished Mural Hall, the space had been designed to emulate ‘New Age Harvest”, augmented by golden hues reminiscent of autumn in rural australia.
Jennifer Hawkins and Jessica Hart made stunning entrances in Ellery to open the show.
Jennifer, model, mogul and former Miss Universe, sachayed down the runway, with her trademark smile, four more times through the show wearing gorgeous designs from Yeojin Bae, Magdalena Velevska, Aurelio Costarella and Toni Maticevski.
Jessica, former Seafolly ambassador and designer of ‘Neon Hart’ clothing label, lit up the catwalk easily pulling off sass & bide, Karen Walker, Jayson Brunsdon and Toni Maticevski to close the show.
Kris Smith, husband to Dannii Minogue, appeared on the catwalk three times showcasing suave menswear brands Politix, Arthur Galan AG and Hugo Boss.
Myer CEO Bernie Brookes sat front row alongside some of Australia’s most prominent designers, including Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton, Arthur Galan, Yeojin Bae, Jayson Brunsdon, Aurelio Costarella, Nicola Finetti, Leona Edmiston, Wayne Cooper and of course new contributors for Myer, Kylie Radford from Morrison and Nick Demkiw from Autonomy.

Grammy Winner and pop diva Beyonce Knowles and her Oscar-winning pal, Gwyneth Paltrow, are getting ready to team up for a film which so far as all the makings of a box office smash! And yes, there will be singing!
Beyonce and Gwenyth will star in the film Sony is producing with Glee creator Ryan Murphy, along side Hollywood bombshells Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon. Talk about an awesome foursome!
The title at present is One Hit Wonders, and surrounds a plot where the actresses will play women who each had a single hit song in the 90s, and by means of a comeback get together to form a supergroup. Considering the star-studded line up, we’re not sure it’ll matter if the film is Oscars worthy or not!
Andy Samberg and the boys from The Lonely Island will be producing the music for the movie, Rescu. wonders if Chris Martin and Jay-Z will lend a hand?
According to reports Paltrow, Witherspoon, Diaz and Murphy were all having dinner in New York one night and discussed the idea of working together between courses. Rescu. would have loved to be a fly on the wall during that dinner!
