Jennifer Hawkins, Kris Smith and Rebecca Judd teamed up in Sydney to show off the latest in race day fashion from Myer. The Myer ambassadors looked set to bring some old Hollywood glamour to the races this Autumn.
Myer ambassadors Jennifer Hawkins, Rebecca Judd and Kris Smith brought the Gatsby back to Sydney as they modelled the department store’s latest race day wear at Sydney’s Walsh Bay. The 2012 Autumn Racing Carnival, kicks off on the 24th March.
Rebecca and Jennifer, with engagement ring in tow, looked their radiant selves modelling the clothes and beauty looks for the Autumn 2012 racing season, channeling old old Hollywood, a theme that has been sweeping the international runways and red carpets. There was even hay bales present to get the models and onlookers alike n the mood.
“Ladylike but with a dark side” was the message racegoers should take away for the Myer autumn/winter racing fashion launch.
“It’s about detail this year I think,” said Hawkins, wearing a short dress by Nicola Finetti.
“Paying attention to everything you’re wearing from head to toe. Gloves, a faux fur stole. Little things definitely make a difference,” was Jennifer’s advice.
For Jennifer’s overall retro, earthy vibe, team a felt hat with a bronze makeup palette and sultry, wavy hair. For the high glamour girl, go for Rebecca’s look, adding a touch of leather and a bold red lip for a mysterious edge. on the other hand was all about high-glamour with a retro twist. Kris made for the perfect man-bag with his very ‘Mad Men’ inspired look.
