It’s been a tumultuous ride of late for the young Oscar-winning actress and star of The Hunger Games, Jennifer Lawrence. On the back of the widely publicised nude photo scandal, E! News and People have now confirmed the 24-year-old Oscar winner and the 37-year-old Coldplay front man have crosse dthe Hollywood boarder into Splitsville.
“Jen is the one who broke it off with Chris,” a source told People.
The pair began dating in late June after Lawrence split with her on-off boyfriend and X-Men costar Nicholas Hoult and Martin announced he had “consciously uncoupled” from Gwyneth Paltrow.
The Hunger Games actress and musician were first spotted together at the iHeart Radio Music festival in September.
Lawrence called it quits with Hoult with a sources saying the breakup was “very amicable,” adding that their successful careers made it difficult to find time for their relationship.
Jennifer Lawrence has recently completed filming on The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, and last year, Coldplay recorded the song “Atlas,” which was featured on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack.
Meanwhile, Chris Martin, 37 and ex Gwyneth Paltrow, 41, also an Oscar winner, announced their separation after more than 10 years of marriage and two children earlier this year.
But wanting to keep things on the down low, they had only been photographed together once in the almost four months they were together.
The split comes after Martin was spotted on a family dinner with Paltrow.
Calling it quits just in time for Halloween, Lawrence is back to the top spot of Hollywood’s most eligable bachelorette.
