Jo Malone has partnered with Elton John AIDS Foundation to launch a limited edition fragrance, White Tie & Tiara. Inspired by the beautiful ‘White Scented Garden’, at Sir Elton John and David Furnish’s Windsor home and named after the White Tie and Tiara Ball, held there every June.
This strictly A-list event draws celebrities and philanthropists from around the world including Elton John’s BFF Liz Hurley, Elle MacPherson and fashionable pair Victoria and David Beckham.
Rescu. Roadtest:
White Tie & Tiara combines the scent of summer flowers with a sparkling infusion of fruit- a blend of delicate jasmine, orange blossom, and white violets with hints of pineapple, tangerine and bergamot.
Each purchase of White Tie & Tiara 2010 supports Jo Malone’s donation of £150,000 to the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The money raised helps fund and run key programmes in Cambodia and Malawi, helping over 25,000 children infected with the HIV virus or orphaned because of AIDS.
The Kohdo Wood Collection
Launched this month, Jo Malone’s Kohdo Wood Collection lends inspiration from the ancient Japanese art of incense appreciation. The new scents, Lotus Blossom and Water Lilly and Dark Amber and Ginger Lily, are designed to reflect the spirit of dawn and dusk.
Welcoming the day is the vibrant Lotus Blossom and Water Lily is designed to wake the senses and energise the soul. The uplifting blend of mandarin, sacred lotus blossom, bamboo and aloeswood, encourages energy and a positive start to the day.
Dark Amber and Ginger Lily’s combination of cardamom, orchid and kyara wood is designed to cleanse the senses and encourage calmness, relaxation and positive thought, making it an ideal scent to take you from early evening into the night.
White Tie& Tiara is available from June 27, from Jo Malone stores and David Jones nationally. www.jomalone.com.au
