Rumours circulate that Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian over the weekend, the trailer for the Steve Jobs biopic is finally released and David Beckham posts a sneaky photo of Victoria Beckham smiling!
Kanye’s Rumoured Proposal
Rumours are circulating that proud new father Kanye West may have proposed to girlfriend Kim.These whispers come just days after she gave birth to the couple’s first child, a daughter they have named North. The 36-year-old rap star has yet to offer her an engagement ring.
Instead he reportedly spent £500,000 ($836,000) on a rare black and tiger-stripe diamond ring as a “push present” for Kardashian. A growing phenomenon in the US, push presents are gifts given to new mums by the baby’s father.
However there’s no evidence of a ring on Kim’s finger yet.
Kim touched on the idea of tying the knot with “Yeezy” during an interview on the Today show in January.
“Marriage is something that we talk about, but I think it’s just right now we’re focusing on the baby,” she said. “What I’ve learned in life is—I was always such a planner, and…you think your life is going to be a certain way, and the best surprises just happen when you don’t plan.”
For now, the new family will spend time together at grandmother Kris Jenner’s Hidden Hills home in California. “They’re putting work aside right now to focus on the family” says a source close to the Kardashians. Recent accounts are also reporting that Kanye’s fathering skills are as on the mark as his new album. We wait with bated breath for the first shots of little North West to appear!
Jobs Movie Trailer Released
Despite a delayed release date, the trailer for Jobs, starring Ashton Kutcher has finally been released. The film, which chronicles early years of Apple, tracks Steve Jobs’ tumultuous career, from setting up what is now the wordld’s largest company in his parent’s garage, to being dumped from the business he created for ten years, to his return and historic reversal of Apple’s fortunes. The film will also touch on his relationship with his estranged daughter.
Having originally been slated for an April release, the movie’s release date was pushed back to August.
The film covers all the big developments to have come out of Apple, including the launching the iconic likes of the iPod, iPhone and iPad.
However, not everybody is excited about the film, or about the portrayal of Jobs by Ashton Kutcher. Panning the film before its release, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak said: “As far as the personalities that were in that scene, this was just ridiculous. Like Steve Jobs as some sort of ‘oh my gosh, I’m the father of society, I’ve got the ideas that are gonna drive the–‘ No, he didn’t act like that at all.”
The trailer feels a lot like The Social Network, another big-budget Hollywood account of anoutsiders whose vision changed the world, but had a troubled personal life. With a soundtrack of catchy, top 20 songs, the biopic looks like it’s going to be a melodramatic account of Job’s life, which is sure to draw in the crowds.

David Beckham Posts Smiling Victoria on Facebook
Whether posing on the red carpet, appearing on the runway after her fashion line presentation, or shopping with her extremely photogenic family, Victoria Beckham is notorious for her super-serious pout, serious demeanour, and failure to smile under any circumstances. Ever since her days as Posh Spice, the pop star, fashion designer and A-list WAG has maintained her austere public appearance, with nary a smirk, let alone a smile or grin captured by the cameras.
But on Sunday, her gorgeous husband David Beckham shared a snapshot of the former Spice Girl grinning happily and looking uncharacteristically relaxed.“See I told you she smiles,” Becks wrote for the caption. The photo is reflective of the couple’s cheeky approach to social media, where they have been known to poke fun at one another, such as a Facebook shot posted by David of Victoria on a New York street strategically placed so that it appears she is holding the neither regions of Beckham posing in his underwear on a billboard behind her.
Victoria recently flew to China to join her hubby, who’s been on a weeklong promotional tour.
