Karl Lagerfeld Emoticons Are Here
Ever had a text you just can’t express without Karl Lagerfeld’s help?
Us neither – but he’s developed a range of emoticons regardless.
The ultimate multi-tasker, Lagerfeld has fingers in every pie, from hotel design (he announced last week that he’ll be doing the interiors for a hotel in Macau) to literature.
And now his own brand, Karl Lagerfeld, launched digital products last night at a cocktail party in Paris, to bring the Karl experience to you on your phone or tablet.
One aspect? The ‘in-store selfie’.
Anybody who visits a Karl Lagerfeld store is allowed to take a selfie and share it with their friends, complete with custom-made filters for Instagram and Snapchat.
And if you just want to tell your mates in text form, a range of emoticons have been released, including one of his famous cat Choupette, his gloved hand in a thumbs-up, and his glasses-and-ponytail profile.
It’s all to promote his new range of perfumes, which are landing in Australia in mid-May.

Lily Allen Has Lost Her Chanel Wedding Dress
It’s worth a quarter of a million Australian dollars, but Lily Allen has no idea where her wedding dress is.
The songstress, who married Sam Cooper in 2011, had a special Chanel Couture dress made for her nuptials, and has revealed on UK television that it’s disappeared.
The custom-made gown was a gift from Chanel – Lily was their ‘face’ in the early 2010s – and was one of two that Lily wore on her big day.
Her gown for the ceremony was by Delphine Manevet, but she changed into the Chanel gown – which had long, diaphanous sleeves, a high neck and an empire waist – for the reception.
The dress is all the more special because Allen was actually pregnant with her daughter at the time.
So where’s it gone?
Allen professes herself mystified. We suspect whoever manages her clothing is currently in big, big trouble – not just from Allen, but from Karl Lagerfeld himself.
It must be nice to be the girl who can lose a Chanel couture gown – but we still feel sorry for her.

Naomi Campbell’s Supermodel Reunion
They were the hugest movers and shakers of the 1990s.
And now Naomi Campbell has spilled the beans: the supermodels are reuniting.
She told CBS This Morning in America that she, Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington would be reunited on a shoot in just a few weeks.
“It’s like a big reunion when it happens,” she said.
But here’s the kicker – the campaign or shoot is a secret. “I can’t tell you where,” she insisted when pressed.
So who would hire all the supers in a row?
It can’t be Versace, who made the girls’ names as a group. Donatella is currently employing Lady Gaga as the brand’s face, making her a mini-me with long blonde hair.
We’re guessing an American or Italian Vogue shoot or a very highly paid campaign, perhaps for Chanel or Dior.
The last time the supers got together it was for Duran Duran’s video for ‘Girl Panic’, which starred Yasmin Le Bon, Campbell, Helena Christensen and Eva Herzigova.
What do you think the supermodels have united for?
