The Duke and Duchess have touched down in Canada for the first leg of their tour of Canada and America. We find out what Kate wore and how the Canadian’s greeted the couple.
Justin Timberlake made a heafty investment yesterday into the almost dead social media portal MySpace.
Finally, we have a look at Victoria Beckham’s new dress line and plans for her future in fashion.
Kate and Wills Touch Down in Ottawa
Our favourite royal couple made their way to Heathrow airport yesterday to board their private jet bound for Canada. Kate looked sophisticated and chic in an all-navy ensemble including a blazer from Canadian label Smythe Les Vestes. A Mulberry Polly Push Lock bag in midnight shiny grain made a perfect high end accessory to complement her look.
The Duchess surprised us all when she landed with husband Wills, appearing in a new outfit! As she stepped off the specially-loaned 
Canadian Forces airbus, she appeared in another stunning navy piece from a Canadian designer. This time it was a well fitted Erdem Mora lace Cecile shift scoop-backed dress of stone crepe with a navy lace overlay that Kate chose.
Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs greeted the royals and presented them to a line-up of over fifteen local dignitaries and the Duchess was handed a bouquet of roses and thistles to signify Scotland.
We’ll be watching Kate and Wills nine-day tour of Canada and adventures in California afterwards so stay tuned.
Justin Timberlake Invests in MySpace
Yesterday social media zombie MySpace sold for $35 million. While this may seem like a lot, it pales in comparison to the $580 million Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp purchased the site for in 2005.
It’s clear Facebook and Twitter have bowled MySpace over in the social media game so who was it that still believes the site is 
a good investment?Justin Timberlake!
Timberlake has teamed up with Tim Vanderhook co-founder and chief executive of Specific Media to re-brand MySpace. He said of the investment, “Art is inspired by people and vice versa, so there’s a natural social component to entertainment. I’m excited to help revitalise MySpace by using its social media platform to bring artists and fans together in one community.”
We’re thinking Timberlake was maybe a little too inspired by his role in Social Network!
Victoria Beckham’s New Fashion Line
The former Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham, surprised everyone when she launched a label that was not only incredibly successful but chic and well designed. Now, the fashion mogul is planning to take things to another level with the launch of a second line for Spring 2012 called Victoria by Victoria Beckham.
The line will be more affordable than her main line but is still high-end with prices ranging from $550 – $1300. We’re surprised and excited to hear this new, younger line is inspired by Emily the Strange and will feature loose shift style with scallops, pleating and cat prints.
Mrs Beckham told WWD an e-store, a physical shop in New York and an expansion into other product categories as also on her mind.
Sounds like Victoria is building a fashion empire!
