Tonight is Duchess Catherine and Prince William’s last night in Canada before they head to the Californian leg of their tour so we check out what the last few days brought them.
The huge premiere of the final Harry Potter film took place in London last night and it, of course, brought with it an impressive selection of mega-watt stars.
Finally, we get to know the new Australian Miss Universe 2011 and weigh up whether she’ll see the success of our most famous beauty queen Jennifer Hawkins.
Duchess Catherine Loves J-Brand
Everyone’s favourite Duchess, Kate Middleton, has become famous for wearing clothes more than once but she took it to a whole new level in Canada this week wearing the same pair of jeans three times in a row! We know how good it is to find the perfect pair of jeans so we can see where she’s coming from.
The jeans in question are J-Brand ‘811’ Mid-Rise Skinng Leg in Navy Luxe Twill denim. She paired them with an anorak during her boat race against Wills, then again as her and husband William visited the residents of Yellowknife and once more as the pair visited the town of Slave Lake, an area that was recently ravaged by fires.
Their Canadian tour has been so jam packed that we were relieved to hear the newlyweds were at least able to enjoy a little bit of alone time when they visited the Canada’s Northwest Territories, commonly known to locals as ‘Honeymoon Island’.
California is the next stop on their tour, where the pair will be attending Saturday’s BAFTA ‘Brits to Watch’ event. We’ll keep a close eye on this one as the guest list is rumoured to include a serious impressive line-up of stars like J-lo, Nicole Kidman, Tom Hanks and many more. Stay tuned!
Harry Potter Premiere
After Emma Watson stunned fans at a photo call yesterday she took things up a notch with an even more impressive gown for the huge premiere of Harry Potter’s 
final film.
Watson looked every bit the Hollywood star in a floor-length dove grey embroidered tulle-bottom dress by Oscar de la Renta. Daniel Radcliffe looked dapper in a grey Simon Spurr suit while Clemence Posey chose a pretty Nina Ricci dress.
Celebrity fans were aplenty on the red carpet including Helena Bonham, Guy Ritchie, Peaches Geldof and sister Pixie Geldof and Queen of fashion Anna Wintour!
Miss Universe Australia 2011
Every now and then a very special pageant winner takes our heart like Jennifer Hawkins did in 2004.
This year, the Aussie to take home the crown was 20-year-old Scherri-Lee Biggs and she is already being tipped as a winner in the international competition.
Biggs credited her success to a very Aussie breakfast of bacon, hashbrowns and toast; hardly your typical model diet!
Hailing from Perth, the model and communications student is headed to Brazil where she will compete in the Miss Universe World finals on September 12.
We think this bubbly blonde might just have what it takes to win the big prize and become the next Jen Hawkins…only time will tell!
