Kate Middleton’s decision to reject a ‘one wear’ policy has divided the opinion of fashionistas and royal watchers.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have been spotted enjoying themselves for once while Crystal Harris has gone to Vegas and been the brunt of insults from Hugh’s ex Holly Madison.
Kate Middleton Not Afraid to Double Up
The majority of us don’t have much choice in the matter—wearing a different outfit to every occasion is simply not happening. But if you were a princess, would you abide by the ‘one-wear-only’ policy and lap up designer freebies? Kate Middleton has decided to follow in the (repeatedly worn) shoes of Princess Diana by insisting she will not be clothes horse, will not accept freebies from fashion outlets and will not act as a fashion model.
As Kate told a friend, “Times are tough—I cannot be expected to wear a new outfit for every royal engagement… Changing outfits for every engagement is simply not practical or affordable and would send the wrong message.”
This month alone Kate has been spotted in a dress repeated from 2007 and celebrated the 90th birthday of the Duke of Edinburgh in the exact same Jacquard coat dress she wore to a wedding in 2009. This has horrified some royal watchers while others are celebrating the Princess for sending a good message to her fans.
Tom Cruise and Katie Homes Party in Miami
Since they got together,nearly every picture we’ve seen of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes has shown them looking unhappy, in a fight or forcing smiles. It seems all they needed was a getaway to Miami to reunite the flame.
Cruise is in Miami to film ‘Rock of Ages’ with co-stars Julianne Hough, Russell Brand and Malin Akerman so Katie decided to take 
advantage of the fun location and take a bit of a holiday. The pair were spotted coming out of Larios, a Cuban style bongo club looking completely in love, relaxed and happy.
Just days before, Katie and Suri were spotted on the beach splashing in the ocean and enjoying some quality mother-daughter time. Later on in the week, the family celebrated American Father’s Day in the sunshine.
It’s so nice to see this family finally looking happy together!
Crystal Harris in Vegas on her would-be wedding day
It was a case of ‘too soon’ this past weekend when Crystal Harris took to Vegas for a huge party at Wed Republic on the exact day she would have been walking down the aisle with Hugh Hefner. The 25-year-old was spotted in a skimpy leopard print Beach Bunny cover-up, flaunting her body and embracing single life.
Hefner’s ex Holly put it well when she tweeted, ‘that’s a new low’, later adding, ‘that’s disgusting and whoever booked her is tacky’.
Talk about a break-up faux pas!
