Miley Cyrus has a new man, an ex of Brad Pitt has sent his love letters public, and Selena Gomez is battling lupus.

The past year has been nothing short of a circus for 21-year-old Miley Cyrus. The star has catapulted into the spotlight – for better or worse – and has dominated celebrity column inches ever since her controversial performance at the VMAs, and it seems she’s not quite ready to stop yet.
Cyrus, who split with fiancé Liam Hemsworth in September this year, is reportedly hooking up with one of her ex’s friends, Kellan Lutz. According to US Weekly, Lutz, 28, was the one to make initial contact with Miley early this month and the pair have “been hooking up ever since.” The maybe-couple were also spotted boarding the same private jet in the Bahamas… sounds sus’ to us! Perhaps the mates before dates rule doesn’t apply in Hollywood?
And that’s not all Miley’s been up to (naturally) — the star caused a bit of a stir when she attended Britney Spears’ Vegas debut show and got up on stage to dance with one of the female dancers before making out with her! Later on, Miley was spotted continuing the party at the MGM Grand with Lutz by her side adding fuel to the fire.
Both parties have been vehemently denying the rumours, but we all know that’s par for the course in la-la land!
Brad Pitt’s Love Letters Leaked
One of the worst things about being a celeb would surely have to be having the less-than-brag-worthy pieces of past resurrected for the world to see. The latest victim in this game is none other than Brad Pitt, who penned a series of love letters in the 80s that have now surfaced.
The letters were written to the star’s ex-girlfriend actress Jill Scoelen, and contain sappy nuggets including, “I adore you. I will love you forever.” And “I can’t stop thinking about you. I don’t feel complete without you next to me.”
Schoelen herself revealed to Radar Online that, “Brad wrote me one of the most beautiful poems a man can write a woman. I thought he was so deep and soulful.”
The pair’s relationship ended when Schoelen ended things for a director of a film she was making in Hungary and Brad has been on record as saying, “It was one of my worst moments. You don’t forget something like that and maybe I’ve never quite gotten over the feeling of humiliation.”
We can only assume it’s Ange who receives such impassioned notes from Brad these days, but then again perhaps Brad has grown out of his letter-writing phase…
Selena Gomez Battling Lupus
Earlier this month, Selena Gomez suddenly and unexpectedly cancelled the remainder or her world tour (including the Australian leg) with little explanation. Naturally, rumours were abound but now it the truth has come to light and we’re sure any fans who were upset about the decision are grateful for it now.
The 21-year-old star is reportedly battling auto-immune disease lupus. While the condition was diagnosed a few years ago, she has been largely without complications until recently.
A source told The Sun, “Selena has been going full throttle the past few years and her lupus is really catching up with her right now. Selena knows that she needs to take some time to address the disease and look after herself better if she wants to live a full and healthy life.”
Although Gomez has taken time out of her busy work schedule, it seems she still has time and energy for play. The star was spotted dancing alongside Katy Perry at Britney Spears show (who wasn’t there?!) and posted a selfie of herself with a friend at the show on Instagram, prompting a flurry of complaining fans.
Hopefully Gomez takes that as a sign it’s time to really take some time out!
