Kim Kardashian Shows Bump For Karl Lagerfeld
Kim Kardashian clothed her baby bump in nothing but the most exclusive designer labels (to occasional derision from critics).
And she hasn’t been seen in public since she gave birth – months ago.
But Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld are here to cure your longing for Kim news, with a new shoot for Roitfeld’s CR Fashion Book featuring copious amounts of pregnant Kardashian belly.
Lagerfeld took the exclusive shots at a shoot lasting till 2am, while Kardashian was still heavily pregnant with boyfriend Kanye West’s baby, the now-famous North West. And we’re hoping it catches on as expectant mother fashion.
From gold grills on the cover to an open tuxedo jacket and bra, Givenchy full-face mask and stars-and-stripes jumper, Kardashian went full-throttle for fashion cred.
Roitfeld says that this editorial is “a collector’s item”, something that changes the magazine from a disposable entity to a piece of art. Entitled Miss USA, it’s up there with the famous W Magazine cover that positioned Kim beside Salvador Dali’s name with the tagline ‘It’s all about me, I mean you, I mean me.’
Ricardo Tisci of Givenchy is apparently the motivator behind Kardashian’s muse-to-the-artists transformation.
What do you think of Kim Kardashian for Karl Lagerfeld and their hyper-fashionable pregnancy shoot: one to emulate or not so stylish?

Jennifer Lawrence Goes Bare-Faced For Dior
First Robert Pattison looks sour-faced in a bathtub, and now the latest Dior ad has been released – and it’s a lot prettier.
Jennifer Lawrence is bare-faced with only the slightest smudge of make-up for her latest campaign for Dior handbags.
And it’s gaining plaudits for actually including ‘imperfections’ – by which fashion people mean perfectly ordinary freckles and moles.
It’s all to do with the 90s look that’s returning this season, complete with minimalism and lots of lip gloss.
Dior’s time with Lawrence hasn’t been flawless. Even though her Oscar-winning giant pink dress was a hit on best-dressed lists, it did make her trip over on the stage up to the awards.
Other disasters have included a dress that looked like it ‘split’ (even though it was just an optical illusion), a truly hideous pants-and-crop-top outfit to the Dior show in Paris and an entire wardrobe of boring black and white in Cannes.
However, her handbags have all been on point. As we would expect.
Which ad do you prefer – high-art Robert or plain and simple Jennifer?

Kylie, Kate and Naomi Design Shoes For Gay Rights
Kylie Minogue, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell have clubbed together with adidas to make shoes for Stonewall, a gay rights organisation in the United Kingdom.
And they’re just as fabulous as you’d expect.
However, there’s not a platform in sight. Instead, they’re all re-imaginings of the classic adidas sneaker, to go to auction to raise money for the charity.
So which gay icon won out in the design stakes?
Moss’s is hot stuff, with the sneaker left untouched but neon signs saying KATE and MOSS plugged into the laces. It’s one hell of a way to be seen in a dark club, and we predict they’ll quickly become cult items.
Naomi’s are more Dolce and Gabbana-chic – they’ve had their white tongues replaced with kitsch pictures of Jesus and Mary. Possibly not suitable to wear to church on Sundays, though.
And Minogue’s are magpie collections of sparkles, badges, pearls, long strings of crystals and concert memorabilia, including huge swathes of VIP passes and backstage wristbands. Very cute for collectors, sure, but perhaps not so practical for a trip to Woollies.
Which one would you be keen to get your hands – and feet – on?
