Australian celebrities including Sophie Falkiner, Alan Jones, Rob Mills, Lucy Durack, Jaynie Seal and Magdalena Roze, will head to Kmart in Broadway Shopping Centre tomorrow, Tuesday November 13th, to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Wishing Tree Appeal.

To celebrate this exciting milestone, these well-known personalities will officially launch the 2012 Appeal by placing the first gifts under the Kmart Christmas tree.
Major Bruce Harmer from the Salvation Army will speak about the importance of the appeal whilst Rob Mills and Lucy Durack from this season’s hit musical Legally Blonde will perform ‘Grown up Christmas List’.
The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal is Australia’s largest Christmas gift appeal having collected over five million gifts during the 24 years it has been running.
It has proven to be an essential help to families in need over the festive period and is now aiming to collect half a million gifts this year for The Salvation Army.
