Kristen Stewart has topped UK Glamour’s Best Dressed List snatching the title from Hollywood trend setters, Diane Kruger, Angelina Jolie, Emma Stone and hot favourite Kate Middleton.
Although you may still think of K-Stew as the girl who rocks Converse sneakers on the red carpet, the Twighlight star has been morphing into a style icon in front of our very eyes.
Perhaps April is a little too early in the year to name ‘best dressed’ (who knows what will happen?) but Glamour UK have their reasons, “Whether she’s working bodycon Monique Lhuillier on the red carpet, or dressing down in jeans and a T-shirt, Kristen is always effortlessly on-trend. Her evolution from awkward teen to style queen has made the Twilight star a fashion icon every girl can relate to.”
Kristen is definitely no one to be pushed into a box as she regularly teams red carpet gowns with sneakers and poses for magazine covers in jeans. Say what you will about her, but Kristen Stewart’s style is to wear what she wants, when she wants it.
In the past she has said to Allure, “I go outside, and I’m wearing a funky T-shirt and my hair is dirty, and people say, ‘What’s wrong with her? She needs to invest in a hairbrush.’ I’m like, Don’t you get it? I’m not that girl! I never was that girl.”
