Official Prince George Portraits Released
This morning our social media pages were flooded with the first official pictures of Prince George! The sweet images show new mum Kate Middleton holding her son George with husband Prince William by her side. In one image, the family sit in the grass with Kate’s dog Lupo sitting with the Prince and a golden retriever sitting just behind a purple-dress-clad Kate. Both the happy snaps were taken at the Bucklebery family home by Kate’s father Michael Middleton and were released by the palace today.
The cute family snaps come off the back of CNN airing their interview with Prince William – the new dad’s first since the birth of his son. In the interview, Wills reveals that he was responsible for George’s first nappy change, that he was terrified about the car seat placement that caused such a stir, and that George is, “a little bit of a rascal, I’ll put it that way. He either reminds me of my brother or me when I was younger, I’m not sure, but he’s doing very well at the moment.”
Watch the interview below.
Lady Gaga Applause Video
We’ve come to expect the unexpected from Lady Gaga’s music videos but her latest release, for the track Applause, is one of the strangest yet.
Throughout the clip, Gaga is dressed as a mime, and a goose, dons a glittery tail, a seashell bra and bleached eyebrows — it’s clear there was one scary dress-up box involved in the filming.
In other Gaga news, the pop star is set to perform Applause at the MTV Video Music Awards airing live August 25th. It will be her first performance since having hip surgery in February.
Oprah Talks to Lindsay Lohan
Oprah’s interview with Lindsay Lohan has aired in the US and it’s as fill of hard truths as we had expected. In the interview, Lohan discusses her recent rehab stint, saying, “I think I just hit a wall. I said [to my attorney Shawn Holley], I think the best option is for me to go to treatment, and just take these three months to really just take care of myself, and find myself.”
She continued to talk to Oprah about her life, and exposed some of the reasons she got so lost. She said, “A lot of stuff went on when I was young with my family, and I grew up in a very chaotic home. It’s something that a lot of people go through and, unfortunately, I waited too long to face it. Nobody’s perfect; I love my parents, but I’m not going to say that there aren’t certain situations I would have preferred to be handled differently…”
Perhaps the biggest admission in the interview was the most obvious one — Lindsay admitted to her additions but said that her latest stint in rehab (her sixth) has finally put her on the path to recovery and that she’s in, “a different head space now.”
We can only hope that’s the truth!
