With all this extra time that many of us find ourselves have, lockdown may just be the perfect time to learn a new skill or to brush up on multiple skills that will give you a competitive edge when life returns to normal. It is never too late to learn new skills or to change careers.

Recently the NSW Government has announced an additional 3000 training places for people all across NSW to upskill at home while in lockdown. The short courses are free and are available to anyone across the state who is unable to work due to public health orders.
The Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education Geoff Lee said “there has never been a more crucial time to upskill or reskill through the pandemic and the NSW Government is here to support the people of NSW every step of the way”
These short courses now on offer to study for free include business skills, mental health, marketing, finance and IT skillsets, and all you need is a computer or tablet, stable WIFI connection and the ability to stream videos.
We love this brilliant initiative by the NSW Government and it’s free.
