Less than a week after hearing of the ridiculous court case between Kim Kardashian and her lookalike singer Melissa Molinaro and now Leighton Meester is engaging in a legal matter of her own with her own mother on the other side.

Leighton Meester Sues Mother
Gorgeous Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester has sued her mother Constance Meester over misused money. At first, we couldn’t believe sweet Leighton would do something so seemingly heartless but on hearing the details, we’re really not sure what to think.
Leighton had reportedly been sending money to her mother, which she intended to be used for the care of her brother Alexander who is ill. Instead her mother, Constance Meester used the sum of $7,500US, for cosmetic procedures and other personal expenses.
Her mother isn’t one to back down either, after Leighton filed the case, her mother filed a counter suit claiming her daughter had broken financial promises and physically attacked her last year, with the legal papers declaring, “Leighton intentionally assaulted Constance by throwing her to the ground and repeatedly hitting her with a bottle.”
It seems family politics are only further dramatized when fame and money come into play. Perhaps thankfully, Leighton’s latest film, Monte Carlo, is scheduled for release in August in America and September in Australia so we’re sure she’s going to be distracted from these family politics with plenty of red carpet events.
Jesse James and Kat Von D Split
It was less than a year ago that Jesse James became one of the most hated men on earth after cheating on ex-wife Sandra Bullock. After a very messy and public divorce, James and Kat Von D became engaged in January of this year. Now, news that their engagement has been called off has hit and it seems James is getting the karma he deserves.
Von D tweeted, “I am no longer w Jesse and out of respect for him, his family and myself, that’s all the info I’d like to share. Thanks for respecting that,” confirming to the world that the rumours were true.
In an exclusive comment to PEOPLE, James put the split down to distance, saying he still really loves Von D and is saddened by the split.Sandra Bullock must be silently smiling to herself at this news!

Lately, Kendall Jenner is putting herself in the spotlight more and more, following in her three sisters well heeled shoes and, with the new season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians currently airing and Kendall having a bigger part in it than ever before, we’re learning more and more about the 15-year-old beauty and just how quickly she’s growing up.
Recently Khloe tweeted a pic of Kendall showing off her driving skills and she has been in the gossip columns recently after it was revealed she is already on birth control pills! Dad Bruce was less than impressed and decided to take the initiative with a talk about ‘the birds and the bees.’
Kendall and little sister Kylie have also been included in the OPI nail polish collection Kardashian Kolours with shades called ‘All Kendall-ed Up’ and ‘Kendall on the Katwalk’.
This tall, leggy teen is certainly one to watch and, like sister Kim has, we certainly see some model potential there!
