Material-gal Madonna may be a world-renowned style icon, but her daughter Lourdes isn’t afraid to critique her mum’s fashion choices when need be.
“You don’t want to be caught in the glare of Lola! Sometimes I change- and sometimes I stand up to her, damn it!” Madge told Us Weekly.
When asked whether she approves of her daughter’s style, the star says- “If anything, I wish she’d dress more conservatively. How’s that for irony? …but I could never tell her how to dress!”
The fashion-savvy pair are soon to release a teen clothing line- aptly named Material Girl, which will hit US retail giant Macy stores in August.
According to Mumma Madge, Lourdes is a fashionista in her own right.
“She comes to my photo and video shoots, pulls outfits together and gives her input to a lot of my fashion-designer friends. Whether it’s Marc Jacobs or Stella McCartney, they always ask her what she thinks.” She said.
