RESCU: What should men be buying their lady this V’Day?
Honey Birdette: One of the most baffling areas that men almost always seem to get wrong is choosing lingerie for their partner. Whilst chocolates and flowers are a passing moment and jewellery can be a strain on the old budget, many men are either overwhelmed with choice or simply have no idea what their partner likes when it comes to lingerie”.

Honey Birdette: Not every woman feels comfortable with baring her bottom in a sexy thong. Put some thought into what body parts she feels most comfortable with and choose lingerie to complement it. Honey Birdette: After much research, Honey Birdette found that over 50% men choose red as their least favorite lingerie color, 18% choose pink and 10% choose ivory. And men’s favorite lingerie colors are said to be the mysterious black and pure white.
RESCU: What colours or prints should men be looking out for?
Eloise: To appeal to her wilder side, bold colors like red and black are perfect. Get her in touch with her inner child by choosing fun prints like cherries or frills. Blondes look great in pastels. Brunettes can carry off stronger colors like emerald green. Redheads do best with greens, blues and earthy tones. Black, red and white (or off-white) look good on almost everyone.
RESCU: But how can men tell if their special lady will like it?
Honey Birdette: If you like touching the garment, she’ll like wearing it. Velvet, silk and satin have lots of tactile appeal. If you’re buying online, stick with fabrics that you already know what they feel like.
