This year, Parfums Givenchy is adding a new twist to the Very Irrésistible Givenchy fragrance range, launching Very Irrésistible Givenchy Electric Rose.
In collaboration with Sony Music Entertainment, Givenchy is organising an electrifying encounter between the worlds of rock and perfume.
For the first time, Liv Tyler, the Very Irrésistible Givenchy muse, will share her passion for music, reveal her voice and set her inner energy free in a reinterpretation of a major “Electric” rock hit – INXS Need You Tonight – produced by renowned artist and producer David Andrew Sitek.
An electrifying song to which Liv brings a modern, elegant and sensual touch. The song was recorded at David Sitek’s studio in Los Angeles. David, laughing, watches Liv, who smiles back at him through the window. Their artistic collaboration is so natural, it seems like they have known each other for years. But this closeness should come as no surprise…True to her heritage as the daughter of a rock star, Liv immediately proved that she could sing. From her father Steven Tyler, lead singer of Aerosmith, and her stepfather Todd Rundgren, another rock legend who was also very present in her youth, Liv unconsciously learned the art of singing and performing.
The filming of the clip was at a studio in Paris, shot by multimedia artist John Renck, choreographed by famous dancer Bianca Li. Liv is of course wearing Givenchy Le Makeup range and Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci outfits.
To enclose Electric Rose, the now famous Very Irrésistible Givenchy bottle has donned an exquisite gradation of transparency and pure white. In a blend of femininity and “rock attitude,” an ultra-modern decorative motif of silver roses electrifies the radiant glass bottle, ultra-sensual to the touch.
