More than $400,000 worth of Louis Vuitton merchandise was stolen from Paris’ Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport on Friday.
While the investigation into the heist is ongoing, it is believed a gang ofmasked thieves held the store’s five members of staff hostage while they filled two waiting lorries with luxury goods manufactured by the French fashion house. No further details are yet known but Parisian police are looking into the theft.
Earlier this month, Marc Jacobs claimed its entire 2012 spring/summercollection 2012 was stolen from a train in Paris during a routine transfer. It is thought the collection was stolen in an attempt to counterfeit thesamples rather than sell them on the black market and now we can’t help but wonder, is it the same culprit?
Harper Beckham’s Luxe Wardrobe
The four-month-old daughter of David and Victoria Beckham was spotted in Los Angeles LAX airport with her mother yesterday and the designer Chloe logo was clearly visible on her legwear, which was teamed with apurple striped dress and hair bow. Victoria and Harper were flying out to London for the British Fashion Awards.
The former Spice Girls star is nominated for Designer Brand of the Year at the ceremony, which takes place at the Savoy Hotel in London. Meanwhile, David – who also has sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, noine, and six-year-old Cruz with Victoria – has admitted he gets “excited” buying new outfits for Harper. He told Us Weekly magazine: “I didn’t know how excited I would get overbuying hair bows. She has so many little dresses!”
