Amanda Seyfried in Lovelace
Amanda Seyfried has gone from strength to strength since her days starring as the ditzy blonde in Mean Girls and her latest role is yet another that will prove her to be a serious actress.
The Les Miserables star is set to bring legendary porn star Linda Lovelace to life on the big screen in a biopic to be released this year. The first trailer for film has been revealed and, thankfully, it looks to be just as interesting and 70s-fabulous as we had hoped.
Set in the 70s, the film follows Lovelace’s journey from being a regular small-town girl to becoming one of the most famous porn stars of all time, all thanks to a film called Deep Throat. It also stars Peter Sarsgaard as Lovelace’s husband Chuck, and contains celeb appearances from Sharon Stone as Lovelace’s mother, and James Franco as a young Hugh Hefner!

Adele’s Wax Slim Down
Usually we are alarmed at how much Madame Tussauds waxworks figure Adele’s Madame Tussauds waxwork figures look resemble their human counterpart but in the case of Adele, we’re surprised to say the figure was a little off…
When the latest wax celeb was unveiled in London yesterday, the hoards of onlookers were surprised to see that the star is looking noticeably more svelte to what she did at the 2012 Grammy Awards, where they’ve modelled the look from.
Her waist, hips, and calves all seem to have had a little lipo… not that Adele is complaining. The 25 year old said, “That’s scary! It’s amazing – I feel a bit emotional. They’ve even got my chin right.”
Chin, yes. Calves? Not so much.
UPDATE: It seems there was a little confusion surrounding this post! We have to say we felt there was no need for the change, we wish they left the stunning Adele exactly as she is.
Melissa Doyle’s Sunrise Cut
We were all a little surprised to hear about the channel Seven shuffle but everyone assumed all parties were happy with the changes. As it turns out, Melissa Doyle may not be so pleased with her move away from Sunrise.
Rumours have emerged that Doyle was told by Seven management just three weeks ago that her time was up with the morning show, and they could offer her an announcement of departure as a promotion but she would have to take a $150,000 pay cut and that the offer was non-negotiable.
TV source told Confidential that Doyle accepted it all with little complaint saying, “She’s a working mum. She thought she was going to die in the chair and was stunned that the decision had been made to replace her. But, because she works and has become accustomed to being on a high salary, resigning was not an option.”
Doyle has been on a family holiday recently and will return to the Sunrise desk next week before departing the show.
