L’Wren Scott, model, designer and girlfriend of Mick Jagger, has been tragically found dead in her Manhattan apartment. L’Wren Scott, 47, is believed to have committed suicide, devastating news for Mick Jagger, who is currently on tour in Australia.
L’Wren Scott has been in a relationship with Mick Jagger for over a decade. The pair started dating following Jagger’s split from Jerry Hall in 2001.
A spokesman for Mick Jagger has stated that the singer was ‘completely shocked and devastated’ by the news. The Rolling Stones are on tour in Australia and are due to start their series of performances in Perth tomorrow. No statement has been made in regards to whether the tour will continue.
Georgia May Jagger, daughter of Mick Jagger, is due to arrive in Melbourne today, where she will walk for Camilla Franks in the Melbourne Fashion Festival.
The talented designer has dressed stars including Angelina Jolie, Oprah Winfrey and Sarah Jessica Parker. She has designed fashion, as well as cosmetics for Lancome and Bobbi Brown, and collaborated with fashion brand Banana Republic on clothes and accessories for women.
Her loss is a shocking one, a spokesman for Nicole Kidman, who L’Wren Scott dressed for Derby Day in 2012, has said that the actress is heartbroken at the loss of a good friend.

Bianca Jagger, first wife of Mick Jagger tweeted ‘Heartbroken to learn of the loss of the lovely and talented L’Wren Scott. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. May she rest in peace.’
Bette Middler has written, ‘just got news of the beautiful L’Wren Scott’s death perhaps by her own hand. I am devastated. A rare, wonderful, talented soul. Goodbye.’
