L’Wren Scott, model and designer, says her height hindered her fashion choices when she was younger.
The 6ft 3in girlfriend of Rolling Stones legend Sir Mick Jagger says while her height has enabled her to be a successful model it also has it hindrances.
She told vogue.com, “I was so tall and so skinny – I was that kid who couldn’t find anything to wear. All the cool kids would have jeans the right length and I would just think ‘What am I going to do?’ “
As well as having a successful modeling career, L’Wren is also a well-respected designer after launching her own label in 2006 and says it’s important for women to feel good in her creations.
She said, “I wanted to create things that you can always pull out of your closet and rely on. I wanted to create a timeless, classic collection of clothing that you can keep expanding on.
“If you don’t feel good in it, don’t wear it because you’ll never look good.”
