Madonna is famous for dressing up in all sorts of ensembles but this time her outfit is for a cause. Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan has resolved her latest court case and Taylor Swift has confessed a truth about one of her biggest hits.

At the GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Media Awards over the weekend in New York City, Madonna was spotted wearing a Boy Scouts outfit complete with badges and troop leader hat. The interesting outfit choice was not just an attention-seeking move from the star but, rather, a political statement – Madge is just the latest artist to don the uniform in protest of the youth organisation’s ban on gay members.
During the night, she took to the stage to present the Vito Russo Award to openly gay CNN anchor Anderson Cooper and did not hold back on the issue, saying, “When I think about young kids in America who are being bullied and tortured, who are taking their own lives because they feel alone and judged, outcast and misunderstood, I want to sit down and cry a river of tears. I don’t know about you, but I can’t take this s**t anymore. That is why I want to start a revolution. It’s 2013 people…”
Go Madonna!
Everyone’s favourite train wreck, Lindsay Lohan, has received her sentence following the Santa Monica Porsche crash she was in last summer when filming the tragic Liz and Dick. The Mean Girl showed up nearly an hour late to her Los Angeles Superior Court hearing on Monday and pleaded no contest to lying to police and reckless driving.
Judge James Dabney sentenced the star to 90 days in a rehabilitation center plus psychotherapy and community service, and cheekily advised her, “A suggestion: don’t drive.”
The deal means Lohan avoids a six-month jail term for violating her probation in a shoplifting case.
We hope this time rehab actually works for the star. It’s hard to believe it these days but once upon a time she had the potential to be one of our great actresses and we believe she’s still got it in her!
Taylor Swift has confessed what we already knew to be true – Harry Styles was the inspiration behind her hit song ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’. The songstress told UK’s Time Magazine that during her seriously hot performance at the Brit Awards last month she didn’t have to fake a thing because, “It’s not hard to access that emotion when the person the song is directed at is standing by the side of the stage watching.”
As it turns out, Swift wrote the song when she first begun dating 18-year-old Harry before things fizzled out and funnily enough, the pair reconnected just as the track gained popularity.
A word of advice, Taylor – 18-year-old boys generally are trouble!
Meanwhile, Harry Styles seems to think Taylor is the one who’s trouble! Fed up with all of his ex’s digs and drama since their split, he has reportedly decided to cut her out of the One Direction documentary! A source revealed to Perez Hilton, “During their two months together, the producers filmed Taylor and Harry in Los Angeles and New York, but Harry demanded they include nothing in the final cut. Harry doesn’t want anything to do with Taylor anymore.” Ouch!
