When we saw Margot Robbie nude in The Wolf of Wall Street alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, our jaws basically dropped to the floor… and it seems we weren’t the only ones!
None other than Playboy Founder Hugh Hefner was so impressed by Robbie in her birthday suit, that he has publically declared his desire to have her pose for his magazine.
The 87-year-old may not have known the up-and-comers name, but he did tell Us Weekly that the she would be a shoe-in for his famous mag. He said, “The girl that plays [Jordan Belfort’s] wife in [Wolf of Wall Street] is very, very pretty.” Going on to say, “She should be in Playboy! Send her a message! We’re ready for her. She would be great.”
Twenty-three year old Robbie is going from strength to strength internationally since the film’s release, and has garnered even more local attention since the release of the film last Thursday when it grossed more than $1 million on opening day alone — the biggest ever for a Martin Scorsese film.
Whether or not the Brisbane babe will join stars like Kate Moss, Kim Kardashian, and Drew Barrymore as a Playboy covergirl is yet to be told for certain, but if a recent interview with Daily Telegraph is anything to go by, the answer will likely be no. The star said, “I think nudity for the sake of nudity is shameful. If they’ve put it in just so that a girl gets her top off, then that’s disgusting. But I also think it’s disgusting when someone would have got naked in real life, in the film they conveniently leave their bra on, or hold up the bed sheet.”
With her next film Z for Zachariah already signed and sealed and rumours swirling that she’ll be starring as Jane in the upcoming Tarzan film, there’s no way Robbie needs Hefner in her rise to the ranks of fame!
