One of the MasterChef judges has debuted a svelte new look, Beyonce wanted to kick a fan out of her concert after an incident, and Kate Upton has returned to Victoria’s Secret.

Last night media and celebs alike gathered at the brand new MasterChef kitchen in Melbourne to celebrate the launch of season five and one of the judges was attracting all the attention.
George Calombaris debuted a very trimmed and terrific new look. The foodie has obviously been holding back at those tasting, he estimates he’s lost about 20kgs over a period of eight months, although he told punters that he doesn’t weigh himself so can’t be sure.
Fellow host Gary Mehigan joked to news.com.au that George’s recent slim down broke the trio’s pact, saying, “We had a pact and he broke it. We were the chubby trio and the only chubby blokes on television and now he’s looking so trim, we’ve got two choices, either we fatten George up or we have to slim down – and we know which one of those is going to be the easiest.”
He continued, “We’ve had to come up with a new name for the chubby trio… two and a half men.”
As far as his weight loss plan goes, George insists it was down to not eating less, but eating at the right times.
Whatever he’s done, it’s worked and he’s looking fabulous! MasterChef season five starts this Sunday on Ten – we can’t wait to see it!
After a fan got a little grabby, Beyonce made no attempt to hide her disdain, announcing, “I will have you escorted out right now, alright?” It all went down at the star’s Copenhagen show, the latest in the long series of performances for her Mrs Carter World Tour.
During a performance of ‘Irreplaceable’, Bey went to hand the microphone to two superfans in the front row. As she lent down, the fan reached out to slap the ‘Grown Woman’ singer’s bum, putting a pause to the concert as Beyonce reprimanded him.
Whether the man was kicked out or not is still unknown but the story is a lesson to men (and women) world wide – don’t mess with the Queen!
After casting director Sophia Neophitou told the New York Time last year that the brand would never use Kate Upton, the underwear giant has re-hired the blonde bombshell in a move that has them eating their words.
In the interview, Neophitou infamously referred to Upton as, “too obvious”, “like a page 3 girl”, and “like a footballer’s wife, with the too-blonde hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy” amongst other things so this news comes as a bit of a shock.
Upton, whose popularity has soared over the past year, appears in the lingerie company’s latest catalogue modelling the best-selling black Body bra.
VS and Upton do have history – the blonde was hired to model the brand’s pyjamas when she was 18 before being ditched – and if it weren’t for Neophitou’s clear and very publically announced disdain for the model, the catalogue appearance would be of no surprise.
Word is still out on whether we’ll be seeing Upton on the VS runway this year but if this piece of news is anything to go by, all we can say is never say never!
