Megan Gale strode the Alex Perry runway last week after some time out of the spotlight and stuns on lookers with a much slimmer physique. Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth were married over the weekend and we’ve got all the details on the intimate ceremony as well as the goss on her new film.
Megan Gale’s Comeback Diet
There’s no denying Aussie glamazon Megan Gale has always had a killer body but when she strode the runway for Alex Perry at the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, her slimmed down physique left jaws dropping.
The 180cm tall model told sources, “I have been on a bit of a regime since about October last year and no one’s really seen me because I’ve been so under the radar shooting Project Runway.”
While her reps insist she doesn’t step on the scales, weight loss experts estimate she has lost around 12kg! Gale puts it down to an organic diet, power walking, yoga, pole dancing and giving up drinking.
Reese Witherspoon’s Private Wedding
35-year-old Reense Witherspoon and 40-year-old entertainment agent Jim Toth confirmed they wed over the weekend in an intimate ceremony at Ojai, Calif.
The couple have been dating since early last year and grew quickly serious. In December the two became engaged and managed to keep their wedding plans quiet.
The small 20-minute ceremony had Witherspoon walk down the aisle to the traditional Here Comes the Bride in a gown by Monique Lhuillier. Renee Zellweger, Sean Penn, Scarlett Johansson, Toney Maguire and many more celebs were in attendance, enjoying both the private ceremony and the pre-wedding cocktail hour at Witherspoon’s ranch.
Former husband Ryan Phillipe attended the wedding party but skipped the ceremony, choosing to spend the rest of the weekend at the Ojai-close San Ysidro Inn with Amanda Seyfried.
Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon Promote New Film
The blonde newlywed and her heart-throb co-star Robert Pattinson have been making the promotional round for their to-be-released film Water for Elephants.
The sexy stars are gracing the cover of this month’s American Entertainment Weekly magazine and there seems to be some serious chemistry going on. Inside the mag, there’s a no-holds-bar interview with the two where Rob says, on working with Reese, “There’s just something about her. She’s just this genuinely nice person. I don’t know if she puts an effort into creating a nice aura but her mood dissipates over the whole set.”
Reese has just as many nice things to say about Rob, “He’s an incredibly hardworking person with an incredible work ethic. He doesn’t ever complain. Not once. Which is sort of lower than the national average for actors. They’re always complaining. Especially the men!”
We can’t wait to see this film which has been adapted by a book of the same name. Looking at the pics inside this mag where the two are in period costume, we’re sure it’s going to be a feast for the eyes!
