Fitness power couple (power in every sense of the word) Michelle Bridges and Steve ‘Commando’ Willis have announced they are expecting their first child together!
Forty-four year old Bridges made the news official with an Instagram announcement, “We’re so happy to announce our special news. The well wishes and love we have received already are overwhelming and beautiful. Thank you so much. Michelle + Steve.” Shortly after, 39-year-old Willis took to Facebook to share, “Excited to finally share our news today, Michelle and I are expecting a baby! Thanks to everyone for your well wishes. Steve and Michelle.”
The pair have made the announcement that much more official with a cover story in the just-hit-stands copy of Who magazine which reads, “Pregnant at 44, star trainer Michelle Bridges opens up about expecting her first child with Steve ‘Commando’ Willis: ‘Now is the perfect time,” and reveals the pair are now more than four months pregnant.
The one-time Biggest Loser co-stars met on set in 2007 and developed a friendship that blossomed into a relationship in 2013 after Bridges split from her husband of nine years, Bill Moore, and Willis split from his long-term partner and the mother of his two youngest children, Froso. Willis has another child, Brianna, 15, from another previous relationship.
A source close to Bridges has confirmed to Fairfax that she and Willis have been consciously trying for a baby and that the conception was completely natural.
Congratulations to the parents-to-be!
