Miranda Kerr has hit home turf to model but this time it’s not lingerie or high fashion, it’s Qantas uniforms. Meanwhile some of the biggest celebs have spent their weekend at Coachella while Jessica Simpson stayed at home for her baby shower.

After controversy over whether or not her Victoria’s Secret wings had been clipped, Miranda Kerr has come to Australia for another company with wings – Qantas. The supermodel mum hit the runway at Hordern Pavillion at Sydney’s Entertainment Quarter for the unveiling of the airport’s new uniforms.
And Kerr wasn’t the only celeb in the room – Cate Blanchett sat front row alongside Qantas CEO Alan Joyce and local stars Magdalena Roze, Sophie Falkiner, and Laura Csortan were all there to watch the unveiling of the red, hot pink, and navy look designed by the Melbourne-born, Paris-based designer Martin Grant.
The new look for Qantas replaces an Aboriginal-inspired ensemble Peter Morrissey (who was sitting in the audience) that was designed 10 years ago and we can expect to see it on flight in 2014.

Each and every year the coolest celebs get out their boho-best for a weekend in the Californian desert for the annual Coachella Music and Arts Festival.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who just celebrated her birthday, were in attendance and looking like they’re definitely in an ‘on’ phase of their on-off relationship and it seems like all is forgiven since the Rupert Sanders scandal.
And they weren’t the only power couple at the festival – Emma Roberts, who was clearly taking advantage of the extreme heat with her barely-there ensembles, and boyfriend Peter Evans were spotted holding hands and wondering around the festival, the seriously gorgeous Diane Kruger and boyfriend Joshua Jackson enjoyed some downtime and vitamin D, and a cream-clad Kate Bosworth was spotted snapping selfies with boyfriend Michael Polish.
There was also plenty of girl power on site with Coachella-regulars Katy Perry, Paris Hilton, Agyness Deyn, and Carmen Electra were all on site looking festival fab.
While some celebs partied desert-side, others were having a different experience entirely at Hotel Bel-Air in LA where Jessica Simpson and her fiancé Eric Johnson celebrated the impending arrival of their son with a star-studded baby shower.
The whole Simpson clan including mum Tina, sisster Ashlee and her adorable daughter Maxwell, and hair stylist Ken Paves were in attendance for the Tom Sawyer – themed celebration which included vintage tables, tin pitches, and a wooden boat.
Close friends Jessica Alba and Chelsea Handler were also in attendance with their partners by their side and enjoyed very Jessica Simpson – esque delicacies like sliders and pigs in a blanket. Too cute!
