RESCU: Which celebrities have you given psychic readings to?
Mitchell Coombes: I have done readings for people from all walks of life. I find reading for celebrities is no different than reading for any other person – I just say what I hear, see and feel as it’s coming through from the spirit world. I have read for both local and international stars, but due to client confidentiality, I cannot reveal too much.
What I can reveal are the public predictions and readings I have made on radio. When Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban began dating, it was speculated by media that it may be a hoax. I knew right away that they would last the distance – there is a soulmate quality about their marriage. On live radio when they had only just begun dating, I predicted they would tie the knot in June, and have a baby girl together – and I’m thrilled to report it all come to pass the following year!
RESCU: Do you have any celebrity predictions? For instance, can you see the future for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt? And what about Jennifer Aniston?
Mitchell Coombes: Despite rumours that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s relationship is heading towards a dead end, I sense their relationship is stronger than ever before. Over the coming year, their focus will be on their children. I sense there will be rumours and talk of marriage – however tying the knot is still quite some time off.
Towards the middle of 2010, Jennifer Aniston will experience a sudden turn of events that will see her in a new steamy relationship, with ties deepening by spring the year after.
RESCU: Can you describe your most memorable psychic reading?
Mitchell Coombes: I was thrilled when I received an email from a client telling me I have predicted her soulmate into her life. During her reading, I told her the name of the man she would soon meet, his looks and features, and that he would work with his hands as a builder. Five months after her reading, a man who matched the description of what I was being shown, walked into her life.
But it gets better, after a few dates she said to him, “you know a psychic predicted you into my life”. And much to her surprise, he said, “really….. the same thing happened to me. I had a reading with this guy Mitchell Coombes and he described you to a tee”! I would have loved to seen their looks of surprise when they both realised they had been to see me. What amazed me even more was that geographically they lived so far apart – one lived in the south and the other on the northern border of New South Wales. I guess they were destined to meet.
RESCU: What are some of the advantages of being psychic? And, what about the disadvantages?
Mitchell Coombes: People often ask is your gift a ‘blessing’ or a ‘curse’. But for me, it’s most definitely a blessing. I find my work deeply gratifying and humbling!
I wouldn’t say it’s a disadvantage, but sometimes I would like to get a birthday present without knowing what it is before I open it… that can drive me crazy (laughs).
RESCU: How does the future look for the Rescu. com.au website?
Mitchell Coombes: As I tune in, I’m shown two bright gold stars falling in the sky. The gold stars symbolise success and expansion of prosperity. The tarot card I have selected is the card of ‘strength,’ and reveals that Rescu. com.au has holding power and will go strength to strength in the future!
