Moët & Chandon and Vogue Australia last night launched the first annual Fashion Film Festival at Dendy Opera Quays. The three-night film festival, celebrates the finest in film, fashion and champagne.
With classical Moet glamour the red carpet saw the arrival of actors Jodi Gordon, Gigi Edgley, Gracie Otto, Alyssa McClelland and Rebecca Breeds, designers Marc Freeman (from camilla and marc) and Kirrily Johnstone and models Nikki Phillips, April Rose Pengilly and Jessica Gomes. All looked Vogue ready to watch the film of Bill Cunningham New York, a fashion photographer, who captures people and the passing scene in the streets of Manhattan every day. The film is a documentary that reveals Bill’s eccentricities and the life of one of New York City’s most interesting and unique individuals.
Moët & Chandon has celebrated international cinema for close to a century. The Maison is a strong and long-time supporter of film awards and ceremonies, such as the Oscars and the Golden Globes, and the International Film Festivals in Venice, Berlin and San Sebastian to name a few.
It is only appropriate that the champagne brand host this special gala night with the country’s most prestigious fashion magazine, Vogue Australia.
Vogue Australia’s new editor Edwina McCaan introduced the film as the fash-pack enjoyed golden goblets of Moët, divine Japanese canapés from Kenji and bags of popcorn!
