Luxury lingerie label Ms Couture revealed their debut designs at RAFW this year, with a sexy collection that takes you from day to night.
The most exciting part about fashion week is viewing a designer who you don’t yet know. This year, the stunning debut by lingerie label, Ms Couture was a beautiful display of fashion and a pleasure to witness for the first time. Designer Juilee Chione-Tullio has been Alex Perry’s couture manager for 15 years, so you can only imagine the absolute detail and beauty that went into each piece. The collection was seductively titled ‘Angel by day, Vixen by Night’, and it was a display of some of the finest luxury lingerie Australia has to offer.
The range included a selection of lingerie styles, from corsets, to hosiery and nightrobes. The models wore loose wavy curls, that bounced beautifully as they walk, paired with vivacious red lips. As can be expected with a lingerie collection, there was plenty of sheer, but it was executed so well, through floor length night gowns and sheer waisted tie tops.
A triangle cut satin gown fitted perfectly around the waist and then swept out over three layers of floating fabric right down to the floor. Cute sex kitten gowns with fur trim lining were worn over high waisted retro style briefs and matching fur trim slippers.
The delicate undergarments were a highlight of the collection, with one bra and brief set featuring white leaf detail up the shoulder straps and across the bust. Sheer briefs were worn with a show stopping floor length white gown that featured satin lining around the elbows, creating fluid movement throughout the whole design.
Corsets hugged models tightly with flawless white satin lining, sheer panelling and matching high waisted briefs. Just when you thought the power shoulder was only for blazer jackets, Ms Couture featured a strong structured shoulder in a cropped puff jacket, worn over a delicate white lace bra and high waisted briefs.
As the collection was all white for some time, guests were up for a treat as the vixens entered the runway with tight pulled back buns and black lips. A fine lace corset with pure black satin briefs was teamed together, whilst sheer panelling created sexy lines in an all black strapless corset.
The collection got even darker as leather panelling was added to briefs and jewel encrusted detail sparkled on a sheer bustier slip.
Billowing sheer, fur, lace and satin made this collection a must have for those who appreciate luxury fabrics and sexy feminine lingerie.
