Belfast in Northern Ireland was the place to be with stars like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Jessie J and more flocking to the Odyssey Arena for the MTV Europe Music Awards.

MTV EMA Tickled Pink Carpet
The MTV EMA’s traded traditional red for bright, popping pink this year and the stars arrived in style ready for the huge night ahead.
Hostess of the night Selena Gomez was one of the first to arrive, making her way down the carpet in a seriously gorgeous cream Marchesa frock that she said made her, “feel like a swan.”
Later Gomez’s boyfriend Justin Bieber walked the carpet in a simple ensemble. The star has been in the middle of a huge scandal since teen Mariah Yeater claimed he was the father of her baby. He has said that once he returns to the United States he will be taking a paternity test to prove this whole scandal has no truth to it. Gomez has stood right by his side through the whole media fanfare and the pair are closer than ever. Bieber won Best Male on the night.
Katy Perry, who won the ‘Best Live’ gong, decided to match the carpet, sporting pink locks, a pink printed dress, pink leather jacket and a pair of huge black, white and pink platforms.
The LMFAO boys were as crazily dressed as ever and even took drinks down the carpet with them.
Bruno Mars and his posse matched the carpet in cute pink suits while JWoww and Snooki chose black and silver dresses, a lot of fake tan and huge hair!
Lady Gaga Cleans Up
Lady Gaga didn’t appear on the pink carpet, choosing instead to make her first 
appearance when we won the award for Best Female Artist. David Hasselhoff had the honour of awarding the kooky star who was dressed in a silver disc-like outfit that truly has to be seen to be believed. With a black disc covering her face she joked, “I know you can’t see but I’m smiling.”
As the night went on, she was awarded a gong for ‘Best Song’ for her single ‘Born This Way’. Hayden Panettiere did the honours and Gaga said, “I knew that this song was very special when I wrote it… I just didn’t know how special it would be. I love you Little Monsters, until the end!”
The super popular star also received the ‘Biggest Fans’ and ‘Best Video’ gongs and proved her star power yet again with an amazing performance of ‘Marry The Night’ in which the singer played a satellite landing on the moon! Her red metallic thong bikini and huge red metal disc glowed in the flames that appeared behind her band as the crowd sat in awe of her tremendous performance.
We actually felt a little sorry for the other performers including Justin Bieber, David Guetta, Bruno Mars, Snow Patrol, LMFAO and Red Hot Chilli Peppers… there’s just no beating the powerhouse that is Gaga!
