The most prestigious award ceremonies of the year are behind us but the most fun are still to come! We check out which films have been nominated for the MTV Movie Awards and, even more notably, which haven’t. Plus Demi Moore, who may have a new love interest, has made a very public declaration that she’s well and truly over Ashton Kutcher and some of our biggest celeb style crushes (Hello Kate Moss and Jessica Chastain) gathered together for a launch party in Paris.

The Oscars may be film’s night of nights but the MTV Movie Awards are by far film’s most fun celebration. With the ceremony set for April 14th, the nominees have been revealed and with categories like ‘Best WTF Moment’, ‘Best Villain’ and ‘Best Kiss’, we have to admit they’re good reading.
The final film in the Twilight series has been the subject of a pretty serious snub, receiving only one nomination for ‘Best Shirtless Performance’. We’re sure no one will be surprised to hear this nom is for Taylor Lautner, not Rob! The hunk is up against fellow so-hot-we-suspect-they’re-photoshopped guys Channing Tatum, Christian Bale and Daniel Craig. We’ve got out vote on Channing Tatum to take it out – you just can’t go past Magic Mike!
The leaders of the nomination pack are Django Unchained and Ted with seven nominations each and Silver Linings Playbook comes in a close second at six.
We’re really looking forward to this year’s MTV Movie Awards – Aussie Rebel Wilson is hosting and it’s set to be one seriously fun night.
Sixteen months after their very public and very dramatic split, Demi Moore has filed for divorce from estranged husband Ashton Kutcher.
The 50-year-old star and her 35-year-old ex Ashton have been arguing about money, putting a pause on the proceedings. A source told New York Post, “Ashton has been very difficult during the talks – you could even say he has been hostile. After over a year of attempting to reach a settlement, Demi is definitely ready to move on.”
Given that Ashton has been dating Mila Kunis (who gave her best interview ever this week) for nearly a year now, we’re sure he won’t be too upset by the move.
This news comes off the back of word that Demi has been calling Russell Brand twice a day and sees him as her ‘spiritual guru’. The actress and Rus’ met through yoga and the pair have reportedly hit it off. Sources insist there is nothing romantic going on but Russell, ever the comedian, did tell a US radio station, “I’ve not made love to her yet, but it’s a matter of time.”
Demi – we say go for it, Russell could be just the no strings rebound you need!
Some of our biggest style crushes gathered at the Hotel Shangri-La in Paris last night for a glam soiree in celebration of CR Fashion Book’s second issue launch. With Carine Roitfeld as host, what more could you expect?
Kate Moss was in attendance wearing a sheer and crystal-studded bodysuit that came straight from Hedi Slimane’s Saint Laurent show. It was a little risque even for Kate and opinions are divided on whether she looked fiercely stylish or just like she forgot to put some pants on.
Jessica Alba stunned in a short black dress and side-swept wavy hair that will send women all over the world knocking at their hairdressers door. Jessica Chastain also got the black memo and wore a long black dress with sheer sleeves. Right on trend and oh-so chic. Nicole Richie, Karlie Kloss, Anna Dello Russo, Alice Delall were also in attendance rounding out the fashionable crowd.
Kanye West was in attendance without pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian on his arm, not helping rumours that the couple are in the midst of parting ways. Speaking of Kanye, the ego-maniac has been making headlines after he called a radio station complaining about MTV’s best rappers on the planet list which had him pinned at a lowly number seven.
