My Kitchen Rules ‘villains’ Chloe and Kelly continue to rise above their negative reputation, winning last night’s tradie lunch challenge.
The pair have garnered a terrible reputation for being ‘know it alls’ and ‘snobs’, but have managed to back their bragging with serious skill and winning dishes. Both tradies and judges enjoyed the girls’ lunch, with the judges saying their choice of meat and sauce was clever, seeing the My Kitchen Rules villains win again.
Chloe and Kelly’s dish was a popular serving of Bourbon lamb cutlets with potato salad and ‘kick-ass’ chilli sauce. We wish we could have tried it for ourselves!
Whilst newlyweds Uel and Shanelle, young Tassies Thalia and Bianca, and South Australian mums Bree and Jessica all performed well, it was the team that everyone loves to hate that ultimately landed the top spot.
Whilst the judges were united in their praise for Chloe and Kelly, they did come into conflict over Cathy and Anna’s Rendang Curry. Whilst Pete Evans loved the tender meat and flavours, Manu Feildel came down hard on the mother and daughter for failing to serve an authentic Rendang.
‘Steak and curry sauce I’ve never seen before and I don’t want to see it again,’ said Feildel.
With Chloe and Kelly soaring far ahead of many of their competitors, it seems the so-called ‘villains’ are here to stay – prepare to hear more bragging about their travels and expertise in weeks to come.
