The outstanding achievements of Australian women were celebrated on Thursday at the picturesque setting of Doltone house on Sydney Harbour. NAB Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards celebrate female entrepreneurs, change champions, agenda setters and emerging public and private sector leaders.
Guests were treated to lunch and a unique opportunity to meet many of Australia’s most influential women. The awards ceremony was opened by the Hon Nicola Roxon MP, who shared her own experience of balancing leadership and motherhood with guests. The judging panel included leaders such as Australian Women’s Weekly Editor-in-Chief Helen McCabe and novelist and TV presenter Tara Moss.
‘Hundreds of women put themselves forward for these awards, and every single one of them demonstrated what they’ve personally achieved,’ said Women’s Agenda Editor Angela Priestley. ‘The winners are inspiring; they prove just how diverse and deep the pool of female leadership and entrepreneurial talent is across Australia.’
