This year’s Emmy’s host has been announced, Liam Hemsworth is a single man again, and Jennifer Lopez shocks fans during a Britain’s Got Talent performance.

Back in 2009, Neil Patrick Harris stole the show during the Prime Time Emmy Awards, and it seems the network big wigs were as impressed as the punters… CBS, the US TV network that hosts the Emmys, have just announced Neil Patrick Harris is set to host the awards ceremony, which will take place in Los Angeles on September 22, again this year.
The How I Met Your Mother star is also set to MC for the 67th Annual Tony Awards on June 9th. As a Broadway star, Harris is a natural fit for the ceremony and this will be his fourth time hosting.
In a statement released about the Emmy’s gig, Harris said, “I couldn’t be more honored and excited to be hosting this year’s Emmy Awards. And what perfect timing – I’ll just do the exact same script I’m about to use for the Tonys. ‘And the Emmy for Best Revival of a Musical goes to Breaking Bad!’ See, told you it works.”
We love Neil Patrick Harris and can’t wait to see him host these two major events.
It’s been months of rumours and speculation followed by denial from both parties, but the latest word is Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth really are done… for good.
The couple, who have been in an on-off relationship for four years since they met on the set of The Last Song, were spotted kissing at a party at Cyrus’ home just two days ago but other than that, the once-inseparable pair have hardly been seen together since Hemsworth returned from his trip to Australia. Now, multiple sources have told US Weeklythat the pair, “are definitely over.’
The news comes just weeks after Liam’s brothers Luke and Chris allegedly staged an intervention to voice their concerns about his impending nuptials to Cyrus.
If all this is to be believed, it sounds like the Hemsworth family have some pretty serious influence over one another!
Jennifer Lopez gave some of her British fans a little more than they bargained for during a performance of her new single, Live it Up, on Britain’s Got Talent.
The 43-year-old singer appeared on stage in nothing but thigh-high leather boots, a very high-cut blackPVC leotard, and a huge feather jacket.
As she gyrated on stage, Twitter went crazy with contradicting attacks – some people thought the star looked steaming hot on stage, while others questioned whether her choice of costume was a little OTT for a family show and some even called her display, “disgusting.”
British broadcasting industry regulator Ofcom received around 30 official complaints from disgruntled viewers – a spokesperson for the organisation said, “Ofcon can confirm that it has received complaints about the Britain’s Got Talent broadcast last night, which we are assessing but not currently investingating.”
Watch the performance below – do you think J-Lo left too little to the imagination for a family show?
