Foundation can be a tricky part of the makeup process, but is nothing short of beautiful when mastered. Use these simple tips to get your complexion up to scratch for everyday gorgeousness.
1. It may be obvious but it’s particularly important, star your application with clean hands and an even cleaner face.
2. Rescu. Beauty Expert, Napoleon Perdis says not to prime is a crime. Apply moisturizer or primer that suits your skin type and your foundation will be ready to glide easily onto your blank canvas.
3. To get rid of the dark circles, pat or dap the concealer onto the delicate skin. Makeup artist Michael Brown shows us how it’s done.
4. For best results and to blend flawlessly, choose a foundation brush over a sponge or oyur fingertips to apply your makeup.
5. Apply dots of foundation on your cheeks, chin, forehead and tip of the nose. Note: Don’t lather foundation over your entire face, just the spots where the skin is uneven.
6. Blend the dots together, being careful to blend evenly over hairline and jawline to aviod the dreaded makeup line. Pay special attention to your hairline and jawline to ensure there’s no obvious line.
7. Set the foundation with loose powder immediately after application.
